Introduction

On the following pages, I have listed a few words and phrases that might be useful if you ever consider visiting Germany. Be warned, though: This page is neither complete nor can I guarantee that the content is without mistake. By browsing through the following pages, you will only get a glimpse of the German language---it might just not be enough for a visit here in Germany (although you should get along fine in larger cities, because many Germans speak at least broken English).

What you will find on the following pages, are some words and expressions, their explanation as to when to use them (and when not to) and also a recorded audio file, so that you cannot only read the words but also hear them. So in short: Have fun---or in German: Viel Spaß!
